Getting to see how your bond as sisters flourishes...

Amira just turned 3 and Alaina is 5 months old, but even at such a young age I can already see the love between them. The way Alaina's face lights up as Amira comes into her line of sight. How Amira asks about Alaina as soon as she wakes up and shows concern when she hears her crying. How she runs to her and says "you aw smawt, you aw impotant".

Amira does not miss the opportunity to help during bath time...I recently pointed out to her that Alaina doesn't cry like she does when water gets on her face. She proceeded to tell me that "Baby sister was a good girl but that she was bad"...she said it like it didn't bother her one bit. All I could do was laugh!
I pray that the love between you both grows stronger, deeper and unconditional. That you can be "bes fwiends" like Amira says and that your lives are filled with pinkie promises, secrets, giggles, laughter and most of all happiness!
I can only hope that you two are as close as me and my sister (Tia Teresita) are. There is no greater feeling than knowing you always have a friend you can count on and will be there for you no matter what...isn't that what having siblings is really all about.
