Intro

Ok, so this is my very first post. I have been a blog follower for quite a while. I have my favorites of course...mostly decorating, organizing and DIY blogs. I noticed how many of them are also used to document their daily lives and served as a journal. I finally got the urge to start my own...mostly for me! I wish I had done this sooner...but better late than never.

If only I had started this blog 10 years ago...when my Prince and I were newlyweds. Him 21, me 19...off to live on our own. We both left everything we ever knew behind. His first set of orders from the US Navy...
Bye, Bye Texas... Hello, Maryland!

Boy was that an adventure...after living there for 5 years we got orders to New Orleans. Long story short...Katrina came, we got temporarily station back home. We realized we missed being home and of course our family. So Prince finished off his last year while I stayed back and waited for him to complete his duty. Shortly after we were back...In Texas!!! Home Sweet Home!

After a long battle of failed pregnancies (more on that some other day) we were finally blessed with a baby girl...

I would like to apologize to our first born Amira...(aka BabyLuv), this blog will sadly not include your first 2 years and 8 months of life. But I know that there is so much more to come and I hope I can be better at documenting it, for you...so you can one day read this; and for myself so I can look back and relive the ride of being your mommy!

Now let's not forget about the newest member of our family...my sweet Alaina. You have definitely filled a hole we didn't even know existed. You are 7 weeks old and I cannot wait to watch you grow and blossom. I wondered if it was possible to love your second the way you love your first. How can my heart have room for so much love? Well it does...and I cannot imagine our lives without you.
